World in Chaos & Liberation: The Inspiration Behind the New Releases

As the world around us is collapsing and capitalism continues to negatively impact every aspect of our lives, I find myself asking a hard question :

Am I doing enough?

We are living through a moment that feels heavy and relentless. ICE agents are terrorizing communities, tearing people away from their homes and families. People are facing massive layoffs while inflation soars. Anti-intellectualism is on the rise, and basic necessities like healthcare are becoming increasingly unaffordable.

All of this is happening while politicians fight for power and resources, detached from the reality people are dealing with every day.

World in Chaos

The World in Chaos shirt was created to encapsulate the greed, violence, and anti-intellectualism that define this moment in history. Every detail is intentional.

The skeleton staring at the Earth represents a system watching the world decay without a care. The dollar sign replacing the “S” in Chaos reflects how profit has overtaken humanity. The three eyed death face symbolizes the war against intellectualism and awareness, and the intentional dumbing down of society.

Liberation

The Liberation shirt exists as a counterpoint.In many ways, it represents the idea that we can each create our own world.

I wanted to create something lighter and simpler. The enlarged FLY lettering represents elevation and the refusal to be grounded by oppressive systems.

The image of a Black woman with circles within her symbolizes wholeness, infinity, and self-contained power. It’s about existing fully and freely.

Two Sides of the Same Reality

These releases are meant to be experienced together. One acknowledges the chaos thats trying to be normalized. The other is a reminder that liberation can begin within one's self. Both shirts are set to release in late January to early February.

This is fashion not as decoration, but as reflection.
